Moreover, all Norman products are free from lead and harmful materials. They also meet or exceed strict International and European standards for off-gassing of toxic chemicals.

Sustainability and reducing our environmental footprint is one of the core philosophies of all our Norman shutters. Our first choice is to use recyclable materials or materials made from renewable resources within our products. Our eco-friendly shutters are made from FSC certified materials grown on the island of Kolombangara in the Solomon Islands. This area nurtures a host of protected forests and a plantation area with over 14,330 hectares of mixed indigenous and exotic wood species perfect for our shutters.
